Fermenthings is your gateway to fermentation in all its forms.
You can drop into the shop for tastings and bottles, join a workshop, come eat at the Sunday brunch table, or spend time with our library and our wiki. Fermentation is both craft and culture, and we love sharing it.
Our workshops teach practical fermentation skills, from vinegar and kimchi to kombucha, hot sauce, tempeh, and more. Alongside the classics, we host one-off events and tastings, often in collaboration with makers from the Urban Fermentory.
We collaborate with restaurants and businesses to develop products or create custom ferments for menus.
